Block of the Month

Quilter's Haven Block Of The Month is perfect for those of you who enjoy working on a project, one block at a time.  Call us or stop in the shop to sign up, then pick up your kit each month, or we can mail them to you.  Following is a description of the Block Of The Month projects available.

January 2013 -- Pumpkins are arriving at Quilter's Haven.....

Sign Up NOW -- Pumpkin Hollow will feature cotton fabrics from the Moda line "Tapestry" and Pumpkinville will feature cotton fabrics and wool applique -- both will be beautiful!  Kits will be available for both quilts.  Block of the Month will be a 10 month series.

Pumpkin Hollow by Bunny Hill Designs

58" x 66" Quilt. "Pumpkin Hollow" is the wool version of our pumpkin block of the month. Filled with pumpkin shops, pumpkin cars and pumpkin houses it's a quilt you'll love making. The backgrounds are yummy fabrics and flannels and the applique is wool! 

Pumpkinville by Bunny Hill Designs

58" x 66" Quilt."Pumpkinville"is the town everyone wants to be seen in! Filled with pumpkin shops, pumpkin cars and pumpkin houses it's a quilt you'll love making. 

Merry Merry Snowmen 62" x 66" Quilt. Christmas looks good in red and our new Snowman quilt is red as can be! These snowmen are ready to help you decorate. A fun, whimsical quilt you will enjoy every season. Fabric kits will be available.  *********************************************** QUILTER'S HAVEN'S SAMPLER BLOCK OF THE MONTH 2012 - 2013 Starting in June, 2012 Quilter's Haven's "Sampler" Block of the month is back for another year of exciting creativity.   This year you have a choice of sampler blocks using your choice of either batkis or a holiday fabric.    Select one and make a sampler block each month.  At the end, Jean Graham will put the entire quilt together for you in what is -- as it always has been in the past --certain to be a spectacular creation. You have a choice of one of four sessions: 1)  The third Saturday of each month at 10:30 AM or 2:00 PM 2)  The third Wednesday of each month at 6:00 PM 3)  The third Thursday of each month at 10:30 AM of 6:00 PM The finished quilt will features an original quilt pattern designed by Quilter's Haven's owner Jean Graham.     The cost for the first block kit is $5.00 which includes the pattern and fabric to complete the block. If you attend any of our four available BOM sessions and bring your completed block from the month before, you will receive your next block kit  FREE. If you miss a Saturday or Wednesday, you may buy back in for $5.00. Knowing that everyone potentially will have a Saturday, Wednesday or Thursday conflict at least once during the year, Quilter’s Haven will allow one free pass that can be used for a free buy back in. Your free pass will be included in the first kit.   Jean Graham will design a complete quilt top for setting your blocks and finishing kits will be available for purchase at an additional cost. This will be a great opportunity to see the newest fabrics, designs, and samples!!! * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *                          A Bunny Hill Designs Block of the Month   Tiny Town Starting in November, 2011 owner Jean Graham will be offering another Bunny Hill Designs Block of the Month program for the beautiful quilt "Tiny Town."   This quilt measures 52" x 60"  and will give you opportunity to personalize to your heart's content.    Kits are now available.

A Bunny Hill Designs Block of the Month   Raining Cats & Dogs 55" x 62" quilt. Raining Cats and Dogs is one og Bunny Hill's newest block of the month and will begin as a block of the month at Quilter's Haven in November 2011. Filled with whimsical cats and the cutest little dogs, you'll be smiling the whole time you make this quilt!   10 months of wonderful applique and a touch of embroidery make up this wonderful quilt.  Kits are now available.

on Highway 3 (South Robert Trail). County Road 42 (150th St.) traveling west is accessible from 52 and 55, and Hwy 35W
or 77 (Cedar Ave) to the East.
