Kristi's Bag Makers for July-Bento Box Briefcase

July 10 2018 – Kristi’s Bag Ladies: Bento Box Briefcase

Join Kristi and your fellow bag makers for an evening of sewing a fun tote bag.    This bag will be the featured project for the June, 2018 Block of the Month project and ruler.

Homework will be required in that you should have you bag cut out and interfacing applied prior to the class.    This is usually IN ADDITION to fusible fleece or soft and stable.

Kristi will provide an overview of the pattern and her tips and tricks for making the bag.   We will then spend the rest of the evening sewing. Feel free to prepare pieces you feel comfortable preparing (handles, pockets, etc.).   Each month the focus will be on a new technique.

This month, we will be creating the Bento Box Briefcase – a Cut Loose Pattern featuring the 6” Log Cabin Ruler.   This is a fun project bag.   This month the technique we will be focusing on is using the creative grids ruler and talking about other fun ways to embellish or quilt this bag.

Quilter’s Haven will have the Bento Box Patterns and the Creative Grids Log Cabin Rulers – please purchase when you register and pay for the class.   You will need the materials listed on the pattern.

So – Come Join Kristi and have fun with your fellow Bag Makers doing what we love to do – MAKE BAGS!!!
