Cabana Mesh Tote Bag





Join us for an evening of charm and mesh – charm squares and vinyl mesh that is – as we put them together to create a wonderful bag perfect for the beach, books, or all of your quilting supplies.   This bag is fun to make and will look great as you head into summer!

Materials Needed:

Pattern “Sew Cabana Mesh Tote” (available at Quilter’s Haven)

Package of 40 charm squares or 40 5” squares of fabric

1/3 yard of fabric for the inside pocket lining

Vinyl mesh – package available at Quilter’s Haven (18 ½” by 34”)

Fusible Interfacing – 1 yard

Grommets (3/8” size) – 4 needed

Recommended – SF 101 interfacing for lining your fabric pockets

Sewing Machine

General Sewing supplies – pins, thread, scissors. You will also need a rotary cutter and ruler (there are a few available at the shop for use during the class – however, feel free to bring one if you prefer).
