Construct a tuffet stool during this 2 session class using the pattern “Quick and Cute Tuffets” and the Creative Grids 15 degree ruler. Purchase the pattern and ruler at Quilters Haven prior to the class. Register and prepay for the class.
INCLUDED IN THE CLASS:
Kit for constructing and finishing the tuffet: we will have the two pieces of batting for each tuffet, the twine, long needle, staple gun, and whatever else you need. Let Quilter's Haven know if you need the foam piece.
**Bring what supplies you DO have to the first class. Some of you already have the foam, base and pattern. Bring it all along.
WHAT ELSE TO BRING:
Sewing machine (in working condition)
1/4 inch foot for your machine
cutting mat and rotary cutter with new blade Basic sewing supplies:
(pins, extra needles for your machine, thread, scissors, rotary cutter with new blade,
tape measure, bobbins, chalk marker or other marking pen)
FABRIC:
Pre-cut 24 3” strips of fabric that are at least 21.5 inches long.
***Jelly rolls are not wide enough for this pattern***
You may choose any colors!!
Options:
All solid: 2 yards
2 colors: 1 yard each
24 colors: 1/8 yard each
12 colors: 1/4 yard each
or, Variety!
Bring an additional 4” square of fabric to cover the center button with. You may want to bring a few options and decide which color you want on your completed tuffet.
